Five Axis X-Ray Gantry System
This five axis gantry was designed to perform X-Ray scans of aircraft parts. The gantry was used to automate the scanning process and adjust the position of the radiation source, scanned part and detector.
Aircraft Composite Inspection Gantry
This three axis platform was designed to inspect composite materials and detect manufacturing defects. The vertical axis had a ultrasonic probe mounted to the tip which would scan the surface in a raster pattern.
Electronic Wafer Inspection Gantry
This four axis gantry was designed to scan electronic component wafers during the manufacturing process to detect imperfections. This required submillimeter motion precision, this was achieved using Aerotech motors and controllers.
